About Morris Brown College
Morris Brown College (MBC) is a private Methodist historically black liberal arts college in Atlanta, Georgia. Founded January 5, 1881, it is the first educational institution in Georgia to be owned and operated entirely by African-Americans. The college was unaccredited from 2003 to 2022, but is currently accredited by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools.
