Vermont State University (Vermont State or VTSU) is a public university in Vermont. Vermont State University operates residential campuses in five communities: Castleton, Johnson, Lyndon, Randolph, and Williston. VTSU also operates nine smaller learning sites around the state as well as out-of-state locations in Alaska, New Hampshire, and Wisconsin. It is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE).
